For 2022/23 the relentless chase for perfection brought us to the point of refining some of the DH sizes and building a completely new shape for others. The medium boards received a whole new shape and design. We established a new custom factory for building and testing our boards. The FF custom factory is using cutting-edge technology and the latest machines which insures all our dreams and ideas come to life.
When the best boards are chosen, our boards are sent to our production factory which ensures stiffer, responsive construction. Unmatchable finish and the metallic paint job is one of the leading trademarks of our boards.

The supreme size of our line is a whole new shape improved and revised top to bottom.
The 117 is now significantly faster, gybes better, and most importantly more comfortable, and easier to ride than ever before.
Some of the key features:
A slightly wider tail at OFO improved pointing and comfort.
lower rocker at the 150cm from the tail point, combined with more V, improved speed, planning, rapid exit out of turns, and overall comfort.
Thinner and narrower nose for better aerodynamics and control.
Rounder rails at the mast track area for fantastic tight and safe carving while gybing.
Slightly wider wide point, the harmonic outline helps comfort and control.
Aggressive triangle tail cut-outs allow pure speed, grip, and correct lift.
Unmatchable metallic finished paint job.
Remark – accurate tail cut-out testing was performed measuring clean water exit and flow. The team is using ‘’on board’’ and drone cameras as well as water flow programs and physical testing at the FF custom factory.
Board tested by Arnon Dagan and Tati France in various water conditions from flat to waves and chop.
Results – harmonic outline and control features combined with aggressive super-fast tail cutouts make the DH 117 and 107 unstoppable racing machines!

In today’s slalom world our boards must be super fast yet super easy and comfortable to ride and to turn.
The overall comfort is the one who can win you races.
The Dark Horse FR was an experiment where we took our easiest boards on the DH line – the 122 and the 107, we planted a variation of new strap inserts for also inner positions, and finally constructed the board with our more forgiving Elite Flex construction.
The result is a fantastic sensation and a variety of possibilities
Inner foot straps for great comfort and ease of ride and outer foot position which will bring the Dark Horse to life ready to take on any challenge.
